Job Description
Our growing mechanical insulation contractor is looking for an experienced Project Engineer/ Estimator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in estimating costs and preparing bids for mechanical, fire protection, insulation projects. This position requires a strong understanding of project specifications and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project estimates.
Key Responsibilities - Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP/FP systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather information on project requirements and scope.
- Prepare and submit bids for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant data for cost estimation.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Proven experience as an estimator in the MEP/FP Industry.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
Benefits Compensation: $80,000-$110,000
