Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Planning: Determine optimal routes, modes of transport, and carriers (trucks, ships, planes, rail).
• Documentation: Prepare and process essential paperwork like bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
• Negotiation : Secure competitive rates with carriers, brokers, and other service providers.
• Customs Compliance : Ensure adherence to international trade laws, licensing, and classification requirements.
• Client Communication : Provide regular updates on shipment status and act as a single point of contact.
• Shipment Management : Track cargo, arrange storage, consolidate freight, and manage inventory during transit.

Core Skills & Attributes

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of international trade and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
