HLK is looking for Art Director interns for our Summer 2026 Launchpad Internship Program.
Sure, we want to work with talented people. That’s a given. But that’s not all. We also want to work with talented people who are driven. Those who know that “good enough” is never good enough. Those who don’t just say that something won’t work, but bring a solution, too. We want interns that really want to understand and get experience in the advertising business.
Trust us, you won't be sitting around looking at social media all day, emptying the dishwasher or grabbing lattes for people—you're going to be doing some real work and gaining some real experience! Our 6-week internship program will offer a challenging and rewarding real-life work environment within an innovative and dynamic advertising agency. This is an opportunity for you to work closely with your team on two agency projects, from brief to pitch. If you aspire to “get your feet wet” in the advertising industry, this is the opportunity for you!
This position will work collaboratively in close collaboration with copywriters, strategists and other departments to deliver high-quality, strategic and effective creative that exceeds expectations.
Create a polished presentations, demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the challenge
Use solid typographic skills and a good sense of composition and color
Draw inspiration from latest techniques of design, graphics, layout, typography and photography, and seek new and innovative techniques
Responsibilities
Brief your fellow Launchpad interns on a creative new campaign
Bring practical problem solving skills and proactive mindset to support your internal team
Capture documents and organize communication and feedback to share with the team
Support the build and launch of your campaign
Schedule and lead calls throughout your campaign
Define key campaign milestones and actively monitor project progress to ensure on-time and on-brief delivery
