We’re Hiring: Part-Time Marketing Specialist

Unfold Architecture is looking for a sharp, creative, and self-directed  Marketing Specialist  to join our team. This is a part-time role (10–20 hours/week), with room to grow if the fit is right.

The position is remote in terms of day-to-day work - but we’d love to find someone based in the Minneapolis area for occasional in-person needs such as photo shoots, events, home tours, or team meetings.

What we’re looking for:  We need someone who’s comfortable wearing a lot of hats: planning, creating, coordinating, and publishing. Some days it’s prepping social content or writing a blog post. Other days it’s organizing a home tour, helping plan an event, or refining how we talk about ourselves as a brand. You don’t need to be an expert in architecture, but you do need to be curious, organized, and confident taking initiative.

What you’ll handle:

• Consistent posting across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Houzz, and Facebook (via Planoly or similar)
• Writing and publishing blog content - project spotlights, firm updates, and educational design topics (developed with our team)
• Translating blog content into email campaigns via Flodesk - newsletters, event invites, and announcements
• Capturing candid, behind-the-scenes content (on site, at events, in the studio) for use on social platforms
• Supporting coordination and prep for home tours - event checklists, staffing, materials, etc.
• Assisting with award applications and submission packages
• Supporting print marketing efforts - helping design or coordinate magazine ads and placements.
• Managing project photography - scheduling shoots, coordinating with project partners (Clients, Photographers, Interior Designs, Builders, etc.) attending shoot days, selecting final images, and uploading photos to our website
• Supporting new marketing initiatives - YouTube series, event hosting, builder/designer collaborations, seasonal campaigns, and more
• Helping define and maintain our brand voice, identity, and overall market presence

Depending on your interests and capacity, this role could grow to include:

• Marketing event planning and execution
• Business development and outreach strategy
• Studio operations and internal coordination support.

This role is a large part of how we shape and share our presence in the world. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to be part of that effort.

Unfold Architecture is a residential design studio based in Minneapolis. We specialize in custom homes, additions, and renovations - projects grounded in their site, responsive to our clients, and elevated through strong collaboration with builders and designers. We’re a small, growing studio doing work we believe in and we’re looking for the right person to help us share it with the world.
