Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This position is based in
Granite City, IL , and offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals across our network.
What You'll Do - Lead mechanical design and implementation projects, ensuring we meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Design and specify mechanical systems with a focus on energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Perform load calculations, airflow analyses, and other technical assessments.
- Ensure our designs meet all relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, NFPA, etc.).
- Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to our project teams.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
What We're Looking For - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design or design-build roles, especially in HVAC and piping systems.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
- Proficiency in HVAC design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP) and BMS systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A team player who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Benefits Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 (DOE)
