Job title: Phlebotomist II – Waukegan, IL 60085 (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: Waukegan, IL 60085

Start Date: 12/22/2025

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8:30 AM–5:30 PM & Wed 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21-$23.22/hr

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Erie Waukegan Patient Service Center in Waukegan, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality blood draws and processing on patients, including pediatric patients
• Conduct point-of-care testing (training provided)
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Work independently while supporting patient care at a medium-sized PSC

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required
• Pediatric experience is a must
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to stand for most of the shift

Preferred Skills:

• Customer service
• Flexibility
• Phlebotomy skills, including hard sticks
• Comfortably drawing alone

Reliable transportation is a must. Training will be conducted at the Evanston location for the first two weeks (orientation and field training).
