Description We are looking for a dedicated PART TIME Pre-litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in Sunrise, Florida. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail who can efficiently support the legal team. The position requires a proactive approach to managing cases, assisting attorneys and paralegals, and handling administrative tasks. THIS ROLE IS PART TIME (20-25 hours) and IN OFFICE. Responsibilities: - Answer and manage incoming calls to provide prompt and attentive assistance. - Organize and maintain case files to ensure easy access and accurate documentation. - Input client information into the system with precision and attention to detail. - Collect and compile insurance details necessary for case preparation. - Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the legal team. - Prepare and copy demand packages for thorough case management. - Support attorneys and paralegals with various tasks to streamline workflow. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant role or a related position. - Proficiency in e-Filing and familiarity with civil litigation processes. - Strong skills in calendar management and scheduling. - Understanding of court filing procedures and deadlines. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive information.
