Make a Difference in Patient Care! We're seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our dynamic mail-order specialty pharmacy team. In this role, you'll ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, provide clinical guidance, and deliver exceptional patient education-all from the comfort of your home. What You'll Do + Review and approve medication orders, ensuring compliance with FDA labeling and program guidelines. + Verify prescriptions for accuracy in medication, dosage, and patient details. + Handle inbound and outbound calls with healthcare providers and pharmacies. + Educate patients and families on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects. + Monitor drug therapies and report adverse events or product complaints. + Stay current on pharmacy laws and complete continuing education to maintain licensure. + Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. What We're Looking For + Required: + B.S. Pharm degree (Pharm.D. preferred) + Current, valid Pharmacist license in good standing + 1-2 years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy + Strong communication skills and attention to detail + Preferred: + Experience in pharmacy benefits management or managed care + Knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmacology + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Love This Role + Remote Position: Work from home with provided equipment. + Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd shift + Environment: Closed-door specialty pharmacy shipping high-cost medications directly to patients. + Flexibility: Occasional early starts (6 AM) and potential weekend shifts based on business needs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
