Position Overview

Our client, a prominent Fortune 500 retail leader, is seeking a full-time Senior Digital Communications Email Developer to join their team. This role offers a flexible work schedule (e.g., 9-5, 10-7) and requires onsite presence four days per week (M-TH) at their downtown Cincinnati office. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coding, testing, and deployment of customer-facing email communications.
• Build and maintain frameworks and automations to support enterprise-level personalization.
• Develop dynamic email content using AMPscript, HTML, and CSS.
• Oversee technical execution of campaigns, including tagging, segmentation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, targeted communications.
• Ensure compliance with email regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM) and maintain list hygiene.
• Analyze campaign performance using Adobe Analytics and optimize based on insights.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience coding complex, personalized email campaigns.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Familiarity with large databases and database table design.
• Experience with email testing and reputation tools (e.g., Litmus, Return Path).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Understanding of email lifecycle, deliverability, and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud solutions and enterprise-level ESPs.
• Knowledge of push and SMS/MMS channel regulations.
