Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper with strong experience in packaging and forklift operations. This role is responsible for handling, preparing, and shipping various products with minimal supervision. Consistent attendance, reliability, and adherence to shipping and packaging standards are critical for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ship products in accordance with shipping orders, including completing bills of lading and required shipping documentation
• Load cargo into and onto various types of trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts to move, load, and stage materials and finished products
• Wrap, package, and arrange materials in shipping containers using appropriate packing materials
• Ensure products are properly packed to prevent damage during transit
• Interpret packing specifications and calculate container sizes and dimensions based on drawings or measurements
• Select appropriate barrier and cushioning materials, as well as required hardware such as nails, nuts, and bolts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in packaging and shipping operations
• Forklift operation experience
• Ability to read and interpret packing specifications and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proven reliability with consistent attendance
